One World Cagliari (Sardinia)
Located in the stunning Sardinian capital, Cagliari, One World offers an agreeable atmosphere for their students. The school is found in the heart of the capital in the multicultural district of Marina, just minutes from the port and the beach, close to parks, cafes and restaurants.
The school is housed on the fifth floor of a historical old building which has fully renovated interiors. The school has spacious, light filled classrooms, all equipped with air-conditioning. Also, there is a computer room which students can use to study, and a cafeteria with magnificent views of the port to take a break in. There are also many Italian books and magazines to browse and read at your leisure.
The teaching methodology on which One World base their classes focuses on achieving fluent problem-free communication, using real life daily situations as learning tools in class. One World has a various range of classes for their students. The students can take general group courses, or combine them with prívate lessons. If you would like to deepen your knowledge of the island, there is also the option to add literature or culture lessons to your general course. The school also offers different courses including windsurfing, tango and private courses specialized to your interests, amongst others, which you can reserve upon arrival on the island. Additionally, the school is also a CILS (Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language) examination center. All of the teachers at One World own a DITALS and CLTA certificate, which certifies their ability in teaching Italian as a foreign language.
The team at One World have a weekly plan of activities to explore the city and island, which students can participate in without additional cost. If the activities are not included in the course price, they are offered at an affordable fee for students. The team will also help you organize your own itinerary to ensure you can make the most of your time in Sardinia. Amongst some of the activities planned by the school are visits to archaeological sites, the beach, guided excursions around the city and attending the diverse festivals which take place on the island, as well as visits to nearby islands.
