Cork English College (CEC) has an enviable location, right on the shores of the river Lee in a beautiful Georgian style building. In such a central location, the school is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops, which are just minutes walking from the door of the school. Other sights of interest are located within walking distance, such as the English Market and the Finbarr’s Cathedral. Students will find their needs are attended to in any aspect of English education which they may need.

The team at CEC have a program of organized activities in which students can participate. These are normally included in the course price or if not, they can be participated in at an affordable price. Should students desire to plan their own activities in Cork and surrounds, the school is able to assist.

Teachers at CEC have a very high level of teaching experience as each teacher is required to have taught English for a minimum of three years. On top of this, teachers at CEC are all equipped with a university degree as well as a TEFL diploma (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
