International House Juniors Manchester
International House Juniors is managed by our partner school, International House Manchester, a part of the International House World Organization founded in 1953, a global network of more than 150 language schools. These junior courses are especially designed according to age groups and take place in the Junior English Language Center in the Hulme Hall Grammar School’s building.
The school is located in Cheadle Hulme, in the southern part of Manchester and is well known for its friendly and positive atmosphere, providing a perfect learning environment for young learners. Here, you can not only study with international classmates but also experience what it is like to take part in a typical British school day. Students will be in direct contact with other local students, so that they can easily practice their English. Lunchtime, for example, when students meet to rest and eat lunch in the cafeteria, is the perfect time for students to interact and make new friends. It is also possible to combine language courses with other activities, such as combining English and football lessons, where students take English classes in the morning and have football practice in the afternoon.
All teachers at International House Juniors are well qualified, holding a university degree and a DELTA certificate (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), a Trinity Diploma or a Cambridge certificate.
Manchester is well known as the ideal starting point to explore Northwest England’s lake district, the maritime city Liverpool, Chester and North Wales. The county Greater Manchester itself belongs to the most populated areas of England, making it a "metropolitan county".
