On confirming your language course reservation with Yalea Ltd., you are accepting our general terms and conditions. Confirmation can be made in writing, over email or on the phone. Once you have made your booking, we will confirm your course within two working days over email or in a phone call, before sending a written confirmation. Courses are subject to the school´s availability and we will inform you as soon as possible if your chosen course is not available, in which case we will offer you an alternative. You must be at least 18 years old to confirm a reservation with Yalea Ltd.
Flights: Yalea Ltd. can book flights on your behalf once you have confirmed your language course booking. When you have accepted our flight offer, whether over the phone or on writing, you have agreed to our flight booking terms and conditions.
Once you have made a booking, we will send you a confirmation document with an invoice. A deposit of 500 USD / 400 EUR must be made at this time. After this initial payment, you are required to pay the rest of the balance to Yalea Ltd. at least four weeks before your departure or directly to the school when you arrive. If you book your course very close to your departure date, you must pay the entire sum immediately. Your booking is confirmed once the total amount is paid and until this point Yalea Ltd. has the right to cancel your reservation. Once payment is made, we will ensure you receive all the documents required for your trip, including flight tickets, at least two weeks before the start of your course.
Flights: The cost for your flights will appear on your initial invoice. Once you have paid the course deposit and flights cost, we will book your flight tickets.
Yalea Ltd. only assumes legal responsibility for damages directly related to our services and any liability is limited to the total amount paid to us. The period of liability is limited to the duration of the language course and the language course destination. Yalea Ltd. does not assume responsibility for inbound or outbound travel. We do not accept responsibility for program changes due to delays or strikes. Yalea Ltd is not responsible for travel changes caused by circumstances beyond the company's control, such as those made by local authorities or third parties.
Flights: Yalea Ltd. acts as an intermediary between the customer, airline and other service providers, so does not assume any legal responsibility.
If you are not satisfied with your language course, you should immediately file a complaint with the school. If the school does not respond to your complaint satisfactorily, you should send us the details in writing (email or letter). If the situation is then still not resolved, you are requested to inform us of your complaint again no more than 30 days after finishing your course. Any complaints made more than 30 days after your course will not be considered.
Cancellations must be made in writing as soon as possible. If you would like to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, you are required to pay a cancellation charge of 500 USD / 400 EUR. If you make a last minute cancellation, the following charges apply:
- 29 days or more before the start of the course: 500 USD / 400 EUR
- Between 14 and 28 days before the start of the course: 20% of the course and accommodation costs (min. 500 USD / 400 EUR)
- Between 7 and 13 days before the start of the course: 40% of the course and accommodation costs (min. 500 USD / 400 EUR)
- Between 1 and 6 days before the start of the course: 70% of the course and accommodation costs (min. 500 USD / 400 EUR)
If you cancel your course from the starting date onwards, you will not be reimbursed. If the cancellation is a result of a serious medical, family or work problem, you should be able to get your money back through your travel insurance.
Flights: If your flight is cancelled, the airline is required to reimburse you a certain amount. In this case, the customer must cover any further costs. If you miss your flight, you must pay 100% of the cancellation charges.
In the unlikely event that Yalea Ltd. has to cancel your language course, you will be informed in writing within five working days. In this case, we will reimburse you the entire amount that has already been paid to us as soon as possible.
The cost of your program is fixed when you confirm your reservation. From this point, any price increases resulting from fluctuations in exchange rates or school price changes will not affect you.
Flights: In the unlikely event that the airline raises the cost for your flight, you must pay this increase.
It may not be possible to modify your booking after your departure. If changes are possible, you will be required to pay a fee of 100 USD / 80 EUR. If you would like to change your booking to a different school, this will be deemed a cancellation of your original booking (see point 6).
Flights: Airline companies charge fees for flight changes. These additional costs must be paid by the customer.
It is the customer's responsibility to meet all travel requirements set by the destination's authorities (passport, visa, vaccinations, customs, etc.). We will provide you with information and assist you with any questions. We strive to keep our information as up to date as possible, but we cannot guarantee accuracy as country entry requirements are constantly changing. We encourage you to enquire with your local embassy or consulate before travelling.
Yalea Ltd. can advise you on the various insurance options for your trip. We recommend that you consider this topic seriously before travelling and that you are clear about what your chosen insurance covers. It is imperative that you organize insurance that covers your needs before you travel.
